We were so happy to have visitors this weekend! Brad's mom and dad are headed over to England to spend Christmas with Brad's sister, and they were able to work out a layover in San Antonio for a few days! Ty loved having his Grandma and Grandpa F here for awhile.
It's kinda funny, because although we live here, Brad's parents are the ones that showed us around downtown. They had been here several years ago for a week-long convention, and we had never really toured downtown and the Riverwalk. We had a great evening touring the Alamo, riding the boat down the Riverwalk, listening to live music, visiting Santa, and I ordered my first ribs at a restaurant (probably my last--they're just too messy).

Hi, my cute little sister and family. We miss you guys so much. Even more around the holidays; we have such great memories of spending Christmas together. Glad you had a visit with G/G F and can look forward to a visit from G/G S in January! Love you!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you guys had a really nice time with Brad's parents. The photo of the three of you is so cute! Can you believe you live by the Alamo?! That's cool!
ReplyDeleteWe'll forgive you for the hat! Did you eat at the County Line? That's where we went when we visited the Riverwalk. We have some great pictures of my then 15 month old covered in BBQ sauce. Yum.
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling family you three are!
ReplyDeleteWhen Audra & Mike lived in Texas they loved going to San Antonio and when they moved I was kind of sad that I'd never have a reason to go visit there. But now maybe we can come visit you someday! It looks like you know how to plan a great party.
