I'm stealing the following link from my friend Lindsey at the r house.
It reminds me of this day...

...and why I love Ty's birth family so much. I think birth families sometimes get a bad rap. People judge them and wonder how they could do that? Wonder if their hearts are made of stone. No, just the opposite, in fact. These are the brave people that do the hardest thing on earth to do, all because of true and pure love.

  1. I have a friend who gave up her baby boy for adoption and I commend her for doing so. It would be the hardest thing but it's the best for the child. Ty is so lucky to have you two as parents. I think it's wonderful how adoptive parents and birth moms stay in contact! Hope you enjoy your time with her.

  6. Oh, you know me, I could hardly handle that, it was so touching. I feel like Tyler is such a blessing in our life, so I likewise consider his birth mom a blessing to us. So glad you posted this. love you

  7. Very emotional to watch~ I'm so glad that your family can have a relationship with Ty's birth family. Our little nuggets don't have that opportunity.

  9. Oh Sal, that video was AMAZING. My eyes sting now....Matt's sister and her hubby just found out that they were selected by a birth Mom to be the parents of identical twin girls due this July. We are so excited for them! Have a great weekend or I hope you had a great weekend if they already came to visit. You and Brad are such great parents:0)
