He's not so little anymore. He's a big Kindergartner now. Today was his first day and he LOVED it! I'm so excited for him. (And nervous and a little bit sad, too, but I keep that to myself).
When did he get so big and handsome?
I had to crack up at the mom that wouldn't leave her son, so she stood in the line and walked with them.
I'm always afraid I'm going to be "that mom" who stands in the kid line with her kid. I have to peel myself away and let them do it on their own. I took JJ to middle school orientation and they had the kids sit up on the bleachers. Lots of parents were still standing around lining the walls. The vice principal had to say, "Parents, it's ok. You can leave now."
I know the sad and nervous feelings you are going through!!! Ivy will start Kindergarten next Tuesday and I think I might cry. Ty is adorable:)
ReplyDeleteYep! He has the Grandma Carolyn "Pollyanna" outlook on life----Ya gotta LOVE it! MOM
